Chennai: State assembly Speaker J C D Prabhakar on Sunday said petitions submitted by both factions of AIADMK MLAs claiming legitimacy are under review and that a decision would be taken “at the appropriate time soon”.“When petitions are submitted, they are to be examined in accordance with legal provisions and assembly rules. Decisions will be taken accordingly and in a manner people will accept as correct.”Prabhakar also said pending sewer works along Avvai Shanmugham Salai would be completed within a month.
