Manoj Kumar| TNNKoderma: Police have arrested two chain snatchers within 24 hours of committing two separate crimes. The suspects had targeted two women on Tuesday under the limits of the Telaiya police station, it said on Thursday. The two arrested were also made to march on foot from SP office to the Koderma jail.The first incident took place around 5am on Tuesday, when a woman was targeted while returning home from morning walk. That same evening, another woman became a victim of the same chain snatchers.Following the complaints, Koderma SP Kumar Shivashish formed a special team led by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Pramod Kumar Keshari, which arrested both the snatchers on Thursday.The police also recovered the motorcycle used in the crimes, along with one of the stolen gold chains. The arrested individuals have been identified as Vansh Kumar Verma, a resident of Telaiya, and Shivam Kumar, a resident of Gaya in Bihar.
