Eastern Railway’s Sealdah Division will undertake a 10-hour mega traffic and power block on the Sealdah-Dankuni section from 1 am to 11 am on Sunday for re-girdering of bridge No. 5 CCR between Baranagar Road and Dakshineshwar using a high-capacity road crane. As a result, several Mail/Express trains will be diverted. The Sealdah Rajdhani Express, Darjeeling Mail, Uttarbanga Express, Padatik Express, Kanchan Kanya Express and Agra Cantt.-Kolkata Express will be diverted via Naihati-Dum Dum Jn. Puri-Sealdah Duronto Express will move via Bardhaman towards Naihati-Sealdah. The Sealdah-Agartala Kanchenjunga Express and Akal Takht Express will run via Dum Dum Jn. In addition, numerous EMU locals on Sealdah-Dankuni, Sealdah-Kalyani Simanta, Sealdah-Naihati, Bidhannagar Road-Naihati, Sealdah-Habra and Naihati-Bandel routes will remain cancelled.
