Begusarai: A family in Begusarai district celebrated the birth of a baby girl in a unique way by decorating an ambulance with flowers and playing DJ music while taking the mother and newborn home from the hospital. The video of the celebration has gone viral on social media, with many people praising the family’s gesture.At a time when daughters are still considered a burden in some sections of society, the family celebrated the birth of the first girl child among five brothers. The incident took place in Manopur Rudauli village under Bachhwara block.Ruby Devi, wife of Ram Uday Sahni, was admitted to Bachhwara Community Health Centre on July 14 after experiencing labour pain, where she gave birth to a healthy baby girl. She was discharged later that evening.Overjoyed by the birth, the family decorated the govt ambulance with flowers and escorted the mother and newborn home with DJ music. According to the family, none of the five brothers had a daughter before. When Ruby Devi gave birth to Ram Uday Sahni’s second child — a baby girl — the entire family celebrated the occasion with great enthusiasm.The mother and other family members said they were delighted as this was the first daughter born in the extended family of the five brothers. They wanted to make the occasion memorable by celebrating her arrival in a grand manner.
