His body was recovered from Athmalgola in Barh sub-division, about 60km from Patna, on July 11. The body was badly decomposed and bore multiple injury marks, making identification difficult.A bracelet, a tattoo on his hand and a rod implanted in his leg helped family members identify the body. The family has alleged that Bunty was killed on the day of his abduction or within hours of it. They claimed they repeatedly approached police for help in tracing him, but he could not be found alive. The SSP said four other accused are still absconding and raids are underway to arrest them. So far, four people have been arrested in the case.
