Chatra: Deputy commissioner Ravi Anand on Wednesday conducted a surprise inspection of the district animal husbandry office to review office functioning, implementation of welfare schemes and maintenance of official records.During the visit, Anand assessed cleanliness of the premises, punctuality of employees and overall administrative functioning. He examined the attendance register to verify the presence of officials and staff. Interacting individually with officials and employees, he reviewed their responsibilities and took stock of progress under departmental schemes.The deputy commissioner examined office records and directed officials to accord priority to pending projects and complete them at the earliest. He said any unnecessary delay in implementing the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana “would not be tolerated”, and instructed officials to ensure timely and quality execution so eligible beneficiaries receive benefits without delay.Anand also directed officials to expedite pending and sanctioned schemes of the 2025-26 financial year and ensure effective, time-bound implementation of projects approved for 2026-27. Stressing regular monitoring, proper record maintenance and transparency in official work, he asked officials to maintain accountability and discipline.District planning officer Shishir Pandit and officials and staff of the district animal husbandry office were present.
