Begusarai: Three minor boys went missing after drowning in the Budhi Gandak river at Basauna Ghat under Cheria Bariarpur police station area on Sunday. The boys had gone to bathe in the river with two friends.Cheria Bariarpur police station SHO Jyoti Kumar Basu said the boys apparently went deep into the river and were swept away by the swirling current. “The other two boys fled the spot after seeing their friends drowning,” he said.People learned about the incident after a bicycle was found abandoned beside the river. An SDRF team, along with some locals, was trying to trace the boys.The missing boys were identified as Pinkesh Kumar (12), Pawan Kumar (11) and Adarsh Kumar (13), all residents of Manjhaul village.
