Kolkata: The Bengal govt has announced has announced early closure of govt offices and educational institutions in Bankura and Purulia districts on Tuesday, Aug 18, on account of Maa Manasa Puja.According to a finance department notification issued on Monday, all state govt offices and institutions under its control in the two districts will close at 2 pm.The order also covers local bodies, statutory bodies, boards, corporations and undertakings under the state govt.The notification, issued by Additional Chief Secretary, PK Mishra, directed all authorities concerned to take necessary action.
