Ramgarh: Around 30 trains will be cancelled, partially cancelled or diverted between Sept 21 and 28 due to remodelling work at Mugma station under Eastern Railway, senior public relations officer of the Dhanbad division of East Central Railway, Manish Saurabh, said on Wednesday.The Howrah-Bikaner Express will remain cancelled on Sept 21, followed by the Sealdah-Anand Vihar Sampark Kranti Express on Sept 22 and the Anand Vihar-Sealdah Express on Sept 23.The Patna-Hatia Pataliputra Express will remain cancelled from Sept 24 to 27, while the Hatia-Patna Pataliputra Express will not run from Sept 23 to 26.Other cancellations include the Kolkata-Agra Cantt Express and the Bikaner-Howrah Express on Sept 24; the Ranchi-Godda Express on Sept 24 and 26; the Godda-Ranchi Express on Sept 25 and 27; the Ranchi-Gorakhpur Express on Sept 25; and the Gorakhpur-Ranchi Express on Sept 26.The Rourkela-Jaynagar Express, Tatanagar-Jaynagar Express, Jaynagar-Rourkela Express, Jaynagar-Tatanagar Express and Agra Cantt-Kolkata Express will also remain cancelled on different dates between Sept 24 and 27. The Asansol-Barkakana MEMU services will be cancelled on specified dates during the period.The railways have also announced the partial cancellation of the Bardhaman-Hatia MEMU and Hatia-Bardhaman MEMU from Sept 24 to 27. The Bardhaman-Hatia service will terminate at Asansol, while the Hatia-Bardhaman service will originate from there.Several trains will operate on diverted routes. The Dhanbad-Patna Intercity Express and its return service will run via Dhanbad, Gaya and Patna from Sept 24 to 27.The Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express, Sealdah-Ajmer Express, Sealdah-Bikaner Duronto Express, Ajmer-Sealdah Express, Jammu Tawi-Kolkata Express and Bikaner-Sealdah Duronto Express will be diverted via Sitarampur, Jhajha, Patna and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction.The Jabalpur-Howrah Shaktipunj Express and Howrah-Jabalpur Shaktipunj Express will run via Patratu, Barkakana, Koderma, Maheshmunda, Madhupur and Sitarampur between Sept 24 and 27, the railway statement said.
