Bokaro: Three days after a Giridih-based company supervisor Manjesh Kumar went missing on September 6, Giridih police on Wednesday arrested four persons for the alleged kidnapping and murder of the deceased and recovered the body from Pipratari forest under the Chihra police station limits in Bihar.The arrested accused have been identified as Imtiyaz Ansari of Khijuria in Deoghar, Pintu Kumar Yadav of Tisri and Rajesh Kumar Singh of Nawagarh Chatti in Giridih of Jharkhand, besides Shiv Kumar of Muzaffarpur in Bihar.Citing the FIR lodged at Tisri police station by Manjesh’s brother Gautam Kumar, Giridih SP Bimal Kumar said, “Manjesh was allegedly abducted from near Baghmari Moad at Khatponkh under the Tisri police station limits on Sept 6.”A special investigation team (SIT), led by Khori Mahua SDPO Amrendra Kumar, was formed. Preliminary investigation revealed a dispute between project manager Upendra Chaudhary and Manjesh over alleged interference in work and expenses, including diesel costs. Hunt is under way for Chaudhary, named as an accused in the case.”A motorcycle, a blood-stained stone, a stick, and three mobile phones have been seized from the arrested accused, police added. The arrests were made after the accused persons, during questioning, disclosed the location of the body, police said.
