Police said Ramprasad was returning home after finishing his daily wage work when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle and died on the spot
Bokaro: A 22-year-old daily wage labourer was killed after being hit by a vehicle on the Bokaro-Ramgarh main road under Jaridih police station limits on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Ramprasad Hajam, a resident of Bakspur village.Ramprasad’s family members and locals blocked the road for two hours demanding compensation.Police said Ramprasad was returning home after finishing his daily wage work when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle and died on the spot. “The body has been sent for postmortem examination and the vehicle involved in the accident is being traced,” an officer of Jaridih police station said.
