Patna: Patliputra University’s two-day athletics meet concluded on Tuesday with participation from around 350 athletes in various track and field events.Rashtriya Lok Morcha president Upendra Kushwaha who was the chief guest at the closing ceremony, distributed prizes among winners and congratulated participants for their sporting spirit and dedication.Addressing the gathering, Kushwaha appreciated the efforts of the university in promoting sports activities among students and encouraged young athletes to continue working hard to achieve excellence.PPU VC Upendra Kumar Singh, registrar Abu Bakar and other university officials were present on the occasion. Singh lauded the successful organisation of the event and appreciated the participation of students from different colleges under the university.According to Bakar, the athletics meet featured competitions in several events, providing a platform for students to showcase their talent and sportsmanship. The university has already announced the sports calendar to enable sports persons to take part in various other competitions , he said .
