Patna: Patliputra University (PPU) has announced the online registration window for PhD scholars of the 2024-25 batch will remain open from April 27 to May 2. The registration process applies to newly selected candidates, with specific instructions issued based on their academic background.According to Patliputra University dean of students’ welfare Rajeev Ranjan, candidates who have previously passed out from the university are not required to complete the registration process again. However, they must upload essential documents, including their university registration and enrolment numbers, on the official portal within the given timeline, he said.In contrast, candidates who have completed their studies from other universities must complete the full registration process within the deadline. These applicants are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 461 each and submit a migration certificate along with other necessary documents, Rajeev said.In a separate development, the university has also revised the examination centre for undergraduate (UG) semester VI examinations (session 2023-27) scheduled from April 27 to May 2. The centre has been shifted from RPS College, Harnaut in Nalanda district to Kamleshwari Prasad Teachers’ Training College at Bakhtiyarpur, he said, adding students have been advised to take note of the change and plan their travel accordingly.
