Patna: The Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) on Tuesday came out with a schedule for admission to two-year MSc programme in cyber security and digital forensics (CSDF) from the current academic session (2026-28).CNLU vice-chancellor Faizan Mustafa said on Tuesday that candidates seeking admission to this course may apply online till June 7. Admission will be made on the basis of an entrance test followed by a personal interview. The entrance test will have 50 multiple choice questions of 50 marks based on knowledge of computer literacy, cyber awareness, legal aptitude and analytical reasoning.The one-hour test will be held in an offline mode on the CNLU campus on June 13. The personal interview of 50 marks will be held on June 13 and 14. The results of the entrance test will be announced on June 18 and the classes of the first batch of students will commence on July 13, he said. The total intake is 60.The CV further said the academic programme will prepare graduates for more than 21 career roles across four distinct tracks, namely, industry and judiciary, legal system and law enforcement, national security and policy, and governance.The VC pointed out that CNLU has already signed MoU with leading national and international organisations, including the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI); Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE); Data Security Council of India (DSCI); Bihar Police; Palo Alto Networks; PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC); Bihar Institute of Correctional Administration, etc.CNLU has established a state-of-the-art, NextGen Cyber Security and Digital Forensics Centre with a 60-seater high-end digital forensic lab for offering hands-on, practical training to the students, the VC added.
