Chennai: City Union Bank (CUB) on Monday reported a 25% rise in net profit at Rs 360 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2026, against Rs 288 crore in the same quarter last year. For the full year FY26, the net profit stood at Rs 1,326 crore, an increase by 18% when compared with Rs 1,123 crore in FY25. The operating profit for the full year of FY26 was at Rs 2,014 crore over Rs 1,678 crore in FY25.Net interest income of the bank grew by 22% at Rs 2830 crore in FY26 (Rs 2316 crore in FY25). The Kumbakonam-headquartered bank’s advances grew by 26.5% and stood at Rs 65,875 crore in FY26 as against Rs 52,081 crore during FY25. Deposits in 2025-26 were at Rs 78,307 crore, which grew by 23.3%, at Rs 63,525 crore in FY25.Gross NPA dropped to 1.91% in March 2026 quarter from 3% in March 2025 quarter. Net NPA was down to 0.68% from 1.25%.
