CHENNAI: Without naming TVK and its president Vijay, Tamil Nadu deputy chief minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Monday extended his wishes to the new govt that is going to be formed.Udhayanidhi received his certificate of victory from the election officials in Queen Mary’s College in Chennai. Speaking to reporters after receiving the campaign, he thanked the people of his constituency for voting for him.
“We welcome the people’s mandate. I thank the people of Chepauk-Triplicane constituency for electing me for the second time. My wishes to the new govt to be formed,” Udhayanidhi said.Asked about the future course, Udhayanidhi said that DMK president M K Stalin and general secretary Duraimurugan would hold a meeting with the MLAs will give directions to them.Meanwhile, chief minister M K Stalin visited the DMK headquarters in Chennai and held a meeting with his party functionaries. Stalin, who lost in Kolathur constituency, was visibly upset over the results.
