Dhanbad: A 54-year-old supervisor of an outsourcing company was allegedly run over by a tipper truck on the premises at Gopalichak in Dhanbad district on Monday. The deceased was identified as Ramswaroop Chauhan, a resident of Godhar.Chauhan was a supervisor (shift in-charge) at the firm for the past four years. Following the accident, he was rushed to a nearby private hospital, from where he was referred to the Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital (SNMMCH) in Dhanbad, where he was declared brought dead.Chauhan’s son, Adarsh Kumar, said that his father had left for duty in the morning. Soon after, the family received the news of the accident.A family member, Guddu Chauhan, said, “The turck ran over Chauhan’s waist, causing fatal injuries.”Company representative Shriram Pandey said that details of the accident are being collected and a statement can only be made after a proper inquiry.
