Mumbai: Admissions to degree colleges affiliated to Mumbai University will start from Wednesday, May 6. While the first merit list for seat allotment is scheduled on May 26, according to the schedule released by the university, colleges can commence their academic session for undergraduate courses from June 13.Two days after the HSC results were announced, the university issued a detailed schedule for this year’s admissions on Monday. While aspirants have already started filling in the first part of the pre-enrolment registration forms online on the university’s portal, the second phase, where students can fill in their scores and choice of colleges and also start applying to colleges individually, will commence from May 6. Colleges, too, can start selling their admission forms from May 6, the university’s release stated.Students have to complete the pre-enrolment registration as well as apply separately to colleges till May 21, up to 1 pm, said officials. The pre-enrolment registration, too, will be open to students up to May 21. While CBSE Class 12 results are still awaited, they will get enough time, claimed officials.Colleges can complete minority and in-house quota admissions from May 6 to May 21. The first merit list will be out on May 26 at 11 am, following which the second round will commence.
