Hazaribag: A man died of his injuries after being knocked off from his motorcycle by a speeding vehicle under Barhi police station limits of the district on Friday. The deceased was identified as Taswbar Ansari, a resident of Rudi village under Barkagaon police station limits.Ansari was carrying sacks of coal on his motorbike and was riding towards Barhi Chowk when his two-wheeler was hit from behind by a speeding vehicle near Karso Bridge. Ansari was knocked off his bike and sustained critical injuries.Binod Kumar, the officer-in charge of Barhi police station, said Ansari was taken to the nearest sub-divisional hospital where doctors declared him dead. “An investigation has been launched to identify the vehicle and ascertain the exact cause of the accident,” Kumar said.
