Misir Besra in Ranchi on Wednesday
Dhanbad: Maoist politburo member Misir Besra and four of his comrades were sent to Dhanbad Jail late on Wednesday. The five arrested Maoists were brought to Dhanbad from Ranchi late on Wednesday.Dhanbad SSP Prabhat Kumar said, “All the arrested Maoists, including Besra, were produced before a magistrate on Wednesday night. They were remanded in 14 days of judicial custody and were then taken to jail under tight security.”Besra, 65, and his associates were arrested on Tuesday night from a forested area under Barwadda police station in Dhanbad. Following their arrest, they were taken to the police headquarters in Ranchi.
