An illegal coal mine at Rautpara in Badam village
Hazaribag: Hazaribag police, continuing the administrative crackdown on unlawful mining, destroyed three illegal coal mines at Rautpara in Badam village under the Barkagaon police station limits on Sunday.Officer in-charge of the Barkagaon police station, Deepak Kumar Singh, said, “Acting on the instructions of Hazaribag SP Aman Kumar, a case was registered. Efforts are under way to identify the owners and operators of the illegal mines.”Similar action would continue against all illegal coal mines in the area. The action also sought to deter fresh excavation in forest areas near the village, he added.
