Patna: Chief minister Samrat Choudhary on Wednesday held a meeting with ministers from the BJP quota at his official residence to review the functioning and performance of their respective departments. It was the first such meeting convened by Choudhary since taking charge as chief minister.Tourism minister Kedar Prasad Gupta said the review meetings would be held regularly. “Today, the meeting was held with ministers from the BJP quota. In the future, meetings with all ministers will be held,” he told reporters after the meeting.He said the proposed march by Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav to Lok Bhavan on Aug 19 was also discussed during the meeting. Questioning the relevance of the march, Gupta said, “What value does the march have? His party has been rejected by the people.”The meeting focused on the functioning of departments headed by BJP ministers, though details of the issues reviewed were not immediately available.
