Hazaribag: The Indian Air Force (IAF), in association with Annada College, organised its ‘Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle Road Drive-XIX’ at Town Hall on Friday to introduce students to career opportunities and advanced defence technology.IAF officers briefed students on recruitment routes, including National Defence Academy (NDA), Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Technical Entry Scheme. They also explained eligibility requirements, subject choices and various stages of the selection process.Wing Commander K K Jha, Squadron Leader Himanshu Saraswat, Flying Officer Deepika Gaur, MWU S Singh and other team members interacted with students and answered questions about careers in the force.A real-time flight simulator emerged as the main attraction, giving students an interactive flying experience. Models and displays of modern fighter aircraft, helicopters, missiles, radar systems and other IAF technologies also generated considerable interest.College principal Neelmani Mukherjee said such initiatives contributed to students’ overall development and enabled them to make informed career choices.
