Hazaribag: An 11-year-old girl was killed when a two-wheeler hit her near Vijaiya Chowk under Barhi police station area on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Smriti Kumari, a resident of Gudiyo village in Barhi block of Hazaribag district.According to locals, two youths from Budhidih were travelling on a scooter when their two-wheeler lost balance and hit the girl. She died on the spot. The youths escaped from the spot. Inspector-cum-station in-charge Binod Kumar said the body was handed over to relatives and a hunt was on to nab the accused.
