Hazaribag: Tension erupted at a private hospital in Chatra’s Itkhori on Tuesday after 50-year-old Ashok Ram died during treatment, prompting his relatives and villagers to allegedly vandalise the facility.Personnel from Itkhori police station and Dial 112 brought the situation under control under the supervision of DSP (headquarters) Sunil Kumar Singh. Four persons, including a doctor and a nurse, were detained.Ram’s family said he was admitted around 1:30 am on Monday after complaining of chest pain and his condition deteriorated overnight. They alleged that father of the doctor delayed referring Ram to Hazaribag by saying that he would arrive soon. Ram allegedly died shortly after a nurse administered an injection. Police are investigating the incident.
