Patna: Bihar govt on Friday transferred 10 IPS, three IAS and as many BPS officers. Besides, three IAS officers were given additional charges and two were relieved from additional charges.A notification in this regard was issued by the state home and general administration departments.As per the notification, Komal Meena has been appointed as rural superintendent of police (SP) in Patna. In another key posting, 2018-batch IPS officer Puran Kumar Jha, who was awaiting posting at Bihar police headquarters, has been posted as SP in Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Patna. He was transferred to police headquarters following the firing from an AK-47 rifle during Bihar Bandh in Siwan on July 25 over the alleged NEET paper leak protest. At that he was posted as Siwan SP.Aniket Kumar Dwivedi (2024-batch) has been transferred as SDPO-I, Jehanabad. Deepti Monali (IPS-2024) has been transferred from ASP Gaya to SDPO, Jamui. Hemant Singh (IPS-2024) has been transferred from ASP East Champaran to SDPO-I (Town), Bhagalpur. Karthikeyan A K (IPS-2024) has been posted as SDPO-II (Town), Muzaffarpur. Ketan Ashok Ingole (IPS-2024) has been posted as SDPO, Rajauli (Nawada). Prasanna Kumar M V (IPS-2024) has been transferred as SDPO, Narkatiaganj (West Champaran) and Saeem Raza (IPS-2024) has been posted as SDPO, Naugachhia.The govt has also made changes involving three IAS officers.Naveen Kumar, a 2011-batch IAS officer, currently serving as special secretary in prohibition, excise and registration department, will now also hold additional charge as managing director of Biada. He already holds additional charge as principal/secretary-level head of information and public relations department (IPRD) and MD of Bihar State Beverages Corporation, as specified in the notification.Industry department secretary Kundan Kumar has been relieved of the additional charge of MD, Biada.Vivek Ranjan Maitrey, a 2017-batch IAS officer transferred from the post of additional secretary in IPRD, has been appointed director of sports.Another 2017-batch officer, Anil Kumar, has been transferred from his position as director, IPRD, and appointed MD of Bihar State Building Construction Corporation Limited. He will also continue to hold additional charge as MD of Bihar State Samvad Samiti.Abhishek Palasiya, a 2020-batch IAS officer serving as joint secretary in the road construction department, has been appointed MD of Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited.Meanwhile, Shrikant Kundalik Khandekar, joint secretary in CM’s secretariat, has been given additional charge of joint secretary in industry department until further orders.The home department also transferred three BPS officers. Kundan Kumar (BPS-2007) has been transferred as SP (administration), Patna. Sonu Kumar Rai (BPS-2010) has been posted as SP (Rural), Vaishali and Dilip Kumar (BPS-2022) has been posted as SDPO, Triveniganj, Supaul. Previous order transferring Pankaj Kumar Singh to SDPO Triveniganj was cancelled.
