Patna: Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Sunday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Samrat Choudhary over police action during student protests, saying the bullets that injured a student had also shattered his dream of serving the nation.Rahul shared a video of his meeting with three students who suffered alleged bullet injuries during protests, including one in Siwan who was injured by an AK-47 round. Can you restore their shattered dreams?” Rahul said. Rahul assured him of medical assistance and urged him not to lose hope. “Don’t lose heart, I will lend all help,” Rahul is heard telling the youth in video footage posted on X.The Bihar govt has told the Supreme Court that a police constable who fired four round in air from an AK-47 during the recent student protests in Siwan did so after being surrounded by a crowd.
