Hazaribag: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Hazaribag, on Tuesday arrested a revenue department employee posted with the Chatra Sadar circle office while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 for a land mutation case in Chatra district.Hazaribag SP (ACB) Arif Ikram said, “Tulsi Yadav, a resident of Naya Khap village under the Gidhour police station limits, had lodged a complaint alleging that Satish Prasad demanded Rs 30,000 for processing the mutation of his land. Prima facie, the allegations were found to be true. Prasad was apprehended when he was allegedly accepting the first instalment of Rs 15,000 from the complainant on Tuesday.”“The accused would be produced before the court after completion of the required legal formalities, and sent to judicial custody,” he added.
