Ranchi: The Jharkhand high court on Monday directed the Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB) to conduct regular inspections of industrial units in Ramgarh and submit a report in four months.Hearing a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by Ram Kishore over rising pollution level in the industrial area, a division bench of Chief Justice MS Sonak and Justice Rajesh Shankar asked the JSPCB to keep strict vigil on emissions from Foundry and Casting Limited and Dayal Steel Limited. A school and a jail are located in adjoining residential areas, it noted.The board was also ordered to test samples of water collected from the neighbourhood water bodies and submit a report in the court.
