Patna: RJD national working president Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Sunday accused CEC Gyanesh Kumar of “deploying fraudulent means to help BJP win elections” and said his party would mobilise for a full-scale battle against the BJP-led NDA govt. He also described the present govts in West Bengal, Haryana, Delhi, Maharashtra and Bihar as “illegal”.Addressing a party rally in Aurangabad, Tejashwi alleged fake govts were being formed with the help of Gyanesh. “So why would they care for the common men battling severe crises such as inflation, unemployment and corruption?” he asked.“There is anger among people because of which they are protesting. However, since the BJP has come to power through fraudulent means, it doesn’t care about people or their votes,” Tejashwi said.“Aane-wale samay me sarkar ke khilaf hulla bolne ja rahe hain,” Tejashwi, who is also the leader of opposition in the Bihar assembly, declared. Referring to the Bihar assembly polls, he said, “2025 ka chunav puri tarah se farzi tha”, adding that the two election commissioners had “exposed” it.He alleged the Election Commission had deleted a large number of names from the voters’ list under the garb of SIR ahead of the Bihar polls. He said he would go to the masses and fight these forces.Tejashwi also claimed the state’s coffers had been emptied due to pre-poll announcements by the NDA govt. “They (state govt) have emptied the coffer to win elections and now the state is running on loans. The whole situation will deteriorate in the next six months,” he warned.BJP spokesperson Prem Ranjan Patel rejected the charges, saying the opposition makes such allegations after losing elections. He claimed the poll body was acting impartially and said the opposition had failed to provide proof of fraudulent polls.
