Dhanbad: The Jharia Rehabilitation Development Authority (JRDA) has launched an awareness campaign to motivate the families living in fire and subsidence-prone zones to relocate to safer areas. As a part of the initiative, Jharia Master Plan of Putki-Balihari area organised a street play near Kendua Bridge on Tuesday to promote rehabilitation at Belgaria Township.Niranjan Pandey, mining manager of Putki-Balihari area, said, “We are continuously making people aware of the need to shift to safer places to prevent any untoward incident.” The drive came amid concerns over the slow rehabilitation process.
