Chennai: BJP state president Nainar Nagenthran and AMMK general secretary T T V Dhinakaran on Thursday protested in Chennai, accusing Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi of misleading students over the NEET issue.Nagenthran alleged that Rahul was “hiding behind cockroach (CJP)” to pursue his political agenda and was misleading the youngster protesting against NEET in Delhi. He said that BJP national leadership was contemplating to move privilege motion against Rahul in Parliament.Meanwhile, Dhinakaran accused Congress of indulging in “political hypocrisy” over NEET as Congress-led UPA govt had laid the foundation for NEET, and questioned the party’s decision to now oppose the examination. He also accused the party of adopting “double standards”, alleging that it supported police action against student protests in TN, while it flayed Rahul’s detention in Delhi as “murder of democracy”.
