Ramgarh: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ramgarh, on Wednesday appealed to parents of schoolchildren to remain vigilant about child rights during an awareness programme on sponsored schemes at Govt Upgraded School in Naisarai locality of Ramgarh town.Anil Kumar, secretary, DLSA, Ramgarh, said the programme was organised on the directive of Principal District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, DLSA, Ramgarh, Taufiqul Hasan. Students, teachers and parents were informed in detail about the objectives and eligibility criteria of the sponsored schemes.DLSA officials said the schemes aim to provide essential financial and social assistance to children living in needy and difficult circumstances, ensuring their protection, education and overall development.Children were also made aware of their legal rights, child protection provisions, the right to education, and social evils such as child labour and child marriage.
