Bokaro: A 60-year-old man was killed in Dumri area of Giridih on Tuesday. The deceased, identified as Vasudev Mandal, was found dead in Jambheda village under Barki Beragi area.According to family members, Mandal owned a tractor and hired drivers, usually leaving home around 3 am on his bike. He had left home Tuesday morning as usual. Relatives alleged he was attacked with sticks and blunt objects, claiming injuries on his private parts, suggesting extreme brutality. They suspect a land dispute and demanded arrests of the culprits.“Investigations are underway. We have also questioned family members regarding any possible enmity,” Abid Khan, sub divisional police officer of Dumri, said.
