Ranchi: Judicial commissioner Anil Kumar Mishra has directed that all cases filed under the Jharkhand Competitive Examination (Measure for Control and Prevention of Unfair Means in Recruitment) Act, 2023, be listed as ‘examination cases’.The order, issued on Thursday and made public on Saturday, seeks to bring uniformity in the listing and handling of cases involving alleged malpractices and irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted by the state.In April 2025, the law department designated the court of additional judicial commissioner-I as the special court under Section 26 of the Act.Sources said cases linked to examination irregularities and registered anywhere in the state would be transferred to the court. The move is expected to streamline proceedings by ensuring that all such cases are heard by one designated court.CID is currently probing cases related to alleged irregularities in examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).The agency has arrested dozens of people in connection with the cases. These matters will now be brought under the designated system and heard as examination cases. Officers said the arrangement would help ensure focused and smoother trials.
