Mithilesh’s father, Dodi Yadav, alleged that his son was taken out on the pretext of a motorcycle ride and murdered. He accused the friends of attempting to pass off the death as an accident and demanded a thorough investigation.Police said preliminary findings indicated that Mithilesh died in a road accident.“Prima facie, it appears to be a road accident. Mithilesh was riding the motorcycle and reportedly lost control before crashing into a tree. He suffered a serious head injury,” Chatra SDPO Sunny Vardhan said.“If the family submits a written complaint, the matter will be thoroughly investigated. Strict legal action will be taken if the deceased’s friends are found guilty,” he added.
