Garhwa: The Garhwa administration has removed another BLO from duty for allegedly asking for money during distribution and filling up of SIR enumeration forms. DC and district election officer Pashupati Nath Mishra on Sunday sacked Kusum Devi, an anganwadi sevika and BLO of booth no. 406 under Bhawnathpur assembly constituency, after allegations against her were proved, officials said.A day earlier, BLO Jameela Khatoon of booth no. 383 in Ranka block was removed from duty over similar allegations.Mishra warned of action against anyone found resorting to illegal means or other irregularities during SIR works. “It is top priority of the district administration to ensure impartiality and transparency during the process. People are directed to immediately inform the district administration against anyone asking for money for SIR works,” he said.
