Hazaribag: Two members of an alleged interstate drug trafficking network were arrested with 9.15 kg of ganja, 11 bottles of illicit liquor under Hunterganj police station limits of Chatra district, police said on Monday. The arrests were made in an operation near Bihar border.The accused were identified Rohit Kumar (23), a resident of Bhondal village under Hunterganj police station, and Pawan Kumar (25) of Hunterganj market. The seized ganja is worth around Rs 4 lakh.Sub-divisional police officer Sunny Vardhan said the contraband was seized from two sacks kept in the boot of a car and was to be supplied in Chatra town. “Raids are underway to arrest other members of the gang,” he said.
