Hazaribag: Acting on the directions of Hazaribag SP Aman Kumar, 41 teams of Hazaribag police, comprising 153 personnel, detained 54 youths in simultaneous raids conducted at 93 locations, identified as hotspots for loitering, disorderly behaviour, and other suspicious activities, in both urban and rural areas across the district in the early hours of Wednesday.SP Kumar said, “The campaign was aimed at maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of public, especially women. Similar drives would continue against individuals found loitering in public places, harassing women, or attempting to disturb law and order.”The 54 detained youths were taken to their respective police stations for verification and questioning. They were later released after furnishing personal recognisance (PR) bonds and warned against repeating such activities.
