Ranchi: CM Hemant Soren on Tuesday broke his silence on the ongoing agitation by JPSC and JSSC aspirants, assuring them of justice and saying the govt would take a concrete decision after the investigation into alleged examination irregularities was completed.Speaking after paying tribute to his father and JMM founder Shibu Soren, Hemant said the govt was closely monitoring the situation and was aware of all developments related to the controversy.“Students will get justice. The govt has eyes and ears and knows everything. We are seriously examining all aspects of the issue,” he said. “Whenever we take up a problem, we continue working until it is resolved.”“We cannot tear open our chest and show, but our govt will not allow any injustice to happen to any student,” said Hemant.Hemant said the investigation team was working round the clock and the govt was awaiting its report. “Very soon, students and the people of the state will be informed about the action taken in the matter,” he said.Asked whether the govt would send a delegation to hold talks with protesters gathered at Ranchi’s Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium, the CM said the youths would get their constitutional rights and justice. He said a decision would be taken at an appropriate time after considering the students’ demands and concerns, and expressed confidence that they would trust the govt’s intentions. The agitation has intensified amid a CID probe into alleged irregularities in the 14th JPSC preliminary examination.
