Ranchi: Expressing concern over controversies related to competitive examinations conducted by Jharkhand Public Service Commission, governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar wrote to JPSC directing “a detailed investigation”.According to a communique from Lok Bhavan, the governor cited reports about errors in the question papers of the assistant conservator of forests main examination and the state civil services preliminary exam. JPSC’s provisional answer keys released prior to the exam also had an error.He also raised concerns over lapses in the Jharkhand Eligibility Test at two centres last Sunday for which the JET was cancelled.TNN“These irregularities cause confusion among candidates and impact the credibility of JPSC. A detailed investigation must be conducted to fix responsibilities for the lapses followed by appropriate action in accordance with the rules,” the governor said, stressing on stronger safeguards and better coordination for future exams.
