PATNA: The death of Prince Yadav, brother of coaching institute owner Raushan Anand and an accused in the June 2 violence outside Khan Sir’s coaching centre in Patna, has triggered fresh political controversy, with Janshakti Janta Dal founder Tej Pratap Yadav making explosive allegations against Khan Sir.Reacting to Prince’s death in Nepal, Tej Pratap claimed that Khan Sir was responsible for the incident and alleged that the educator had orchestrated the killing. He demanded strict action and said Khan Sir should be arrested.“This is a very tragic incident; such an event should not have happened. If we have to hold someone fully responsible, we blame Khan Sir. He is the one who planned the murder,” Tej Pratap said.He further alleged, “A person who can get his own associate to fire at him can also plan a murder. We are convinced that he is behind this and he should be sent to jail.”The allegations come days after Prince Yadav, who was named in the FIR related to the attack on Khan Global Studies in Patna, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a hotel in Biratnagar, Nepal.Prince had reportedly left Bihar after the case was registered against him and was staying in Nepal with associates. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, with local authorities conducting further procedures. The controversy stems from the June 2 clash outside Khan Sir’s coaching institute in Patna’s Kadamkuan area. Following the violence, allegations emerged that security personnel at the institute had fired shots during the confrontation.Police later registered a case involving Khan Sir and his security guards. The educator was booked under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act, with allegations that he had directed security personnel to open fire. Khan’s legal team has denied the allegations, claiming the firing was done in self-defence to control the situation.Meanwhile, Raushan Anand, who runs another coaching institute and is Prince’s brother, was also named in connection with the vandalism case. Khan Sir had earlier alleged his involvement in the attack.(With agency inputs)
