Madhepura: Motorcycle-borne criminal shot at a grocery shopowner, Pinku Kesri (35), on Tuesday over alleged denial of cigarettes to the assailants near busy College Chowk in Madhepura town under the same police station. The local people Pinku to JNKT Medical College and Hospital from where doctor referred him to higher medical centre. His condition is stated to be critical. “The police are trying to identify the assailant involved in the incident,” Madhepura SDPO Pravendra Bharti said on Wednesday.
