Buxar: A 31-year-old man died after his motorcycle crashed into a tree near Parsaganda village on the Athar-Belhari road under Basudeva police station area in Buxar district on Friday.The deceased, identified as Manish Rajak of Athar village, was travelling to Belhari village when he allegedly lost control of his motorcycle near Parsaganda. The vehicle veered off the road and slammed into a roadside tree, leaving him critically injured.Locals rushed to the spot and took him to the community health centre in Nawanagar. After receiving first aid, he was referred to Buxar sadar hospital for advanced treatment. His family later shifted him to a hospital in Varanasi, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.After being informed, Basudeva police took custody of the body and sent it to Buxar for post-mortem. Confirming the incident, Basudeva SHO Anil Kumar Paswan said Manish died of injuries sustained in the road accident and that the body had been sent for an autopsy.
