Patna: The Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) collected Rs31.04lakhinpropertytaxfrom478propertyowners on Saturday as part of its ongoing revenue enhancement drive. During the campaign, the civic body also assessed 116newproperties and reassessed the tax of 29existingproperties.According to PMC officials, the NewCapitalCircle(NCC) recorded the highest collection of nearly Rs11lakhfrom79properties, followed by Pataliputra, which collected Rs8.46lakhfrom136properties. Kankarbagh collected Rs4.05lakhfrom91properties, while Bankipur collected Rs4lakhfrom62properties. Collections in Azimabad stood at Rs2.69lakhfrom78properties, and PatnaCity recorded Rs77,000from32properties.Of the 116 new properties assessed, 32 were in NCC, 26 in Kankarbagh, 24 in Pataliputra, 21 in Azimabad, seven in Bankipore and six in Patna City.
