Ramgarh: Railway Protection Force (RPF) has registered a case against unidentified social media content creators after a video of them filming a reel at Barkakana Junction station went viral.The video shows a group of youths dancing to a song on the platform, in front of an express train, as a crowd gathers around them. The reel reportedly received thousands of views.RPF Barkakana inspector Tabrez Ahmed said the force took cognisance of the video and registered a case under relevant sections of the Railways Act. The creators have been accused of unauthorised filming, entering a sensitive railway safety zone and causing a nuisance.Officials said railway platforms are sensitive areas where such activities can disrupt operations and endanger passengers as well as those filming the videos. Crowds gathering during shoots also raise the risk of accidents, particularly when trains are arriving at or departing from a station.RPF has warned that filming reels, dance videos or stunt clips at railway stations or inside trains could invite legal action, including fines and imprisonment. Officers are examining CCTV footage to identify those involved.The action comes amid a rise in reel-making on railway premises across the country, prompting the railways to launch a special drive against such activities.
