Special train rescheduled at Buxar to manage exam crowd

Buxar: To handle the huge turnout for the Bihar Police recruitment examination and ensure smooth movement of candidates, the Danapur Railway Division made special arrangements at Buxar railway station on Wednesday.Amid rising crowd pressure, departure of an examination special train was rescheduled. The train, originally scheduled to leave at 1.30pm, departed for Danapur at 2.30pm to accommodate candidates from the second shift.Security remained tight, with police monitoring passenger movement during the train’s departure.Rail traffic inspector Vindhyachal Pandey said the second shift ended at 1.30pm. To facilitate candidates, the railway administration delayed the special train by an hour and ran it at 2.30pm.He said there was no inconvenience to candidates or regular passengers. Crowd management remained effective, with no overcrowding reported on platforms or inside trains.Continuous announcements guided candidates, while railway staff appealed to passengers to avoid pushing, board trains in an orderly manner, and maintain discipline.Railway personnel assisted candidates throughout the day. Despite heavy footfall, the situation remained under control and no untoward incident was reported.
