Jamshedpur and Deoghar ariport have become operational
Ranchi: The civil aviation ministry on Monday informed that of the six airports in Jharkhand selected under the UDAN scheme, state govt has not provided land for redevelopment of Daltonganj and Hazaribag facilities. In response to a query from Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani, the ministry said that six airports — Bokaro, Dumka, Jamshedpur, Hazaribag, Deoghar and Daltonganj — were included under the regional air connectivity scheme. “Of them, Jamshedpur and Deoghar have become operational, development at Bokaro and Dumka is complete, while the state is yet to provide land for Hazaribag and Daltonganj,” the reply stated.
