Chennai: Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday flayed BJP, saying that there were multiple examples of dynastic politics in BJP and they have no reason to criticise DMK.Kejriwal was in Chennai to campaign for DMK. He campaigned with chief minister M K Stalin and participated in a roadshow.Speaking to reporters in Chennai, Kejriwal said BJP should look at its party first before criticising others on dynastic politics. “I can give N number of examples of dynastic politics in BJP. What is Union home minister Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah doing? When they have to find a chairman of BCCI or ICC, they look for their own sons. What is defence minister Rajnath Singh’s son doing in the party? What are the sons and daughters of BJP leaders doing in the party?” Kejriwal asked. Speaking about double-engine govts as claimed by BJP, Kejriwal said double-engine govts have failed across the country.“Tell me which state under BJP is making progress? I am go to Gujarat regularly for elections. BJP has been ruling the state for 30 years. Roads and schools are in a bad shape and there is so much corruption. Wherever there is BJP, the state has been ruined,” Kejriwal said.The former Delhi CM said people are happy with DMK. “I spoke to a large number of people and they are happy with DMK. In such a case, why do we need second, third or fourth alternative to DMK,” Kejriwal said.Asked about TVK president Vijay’s entry into politics, Kejriwal said India is a democratic country and everyone has the right to contest the election. “I wish him luck in this election,” Kejriwal said.
