Bokaro: Bokaro police on Tuesday arrested two motorcycle thieves and recovered five stolen two-wheelers from their possession. The crackdown comes amid rising complaints of such thefts in city areas.According to DSP city Alok Ranjan, more than a dozen cases related to motorcycle theft had recently been registered at city police station and nearby areas. Taking the matter seriously, Bokaro superintendent of police Nathu Singh Meena formed a special team, which cracked down on the gang allegedly involved in the thefts.During the operation, police arrested two accused identified as Dheeraj Kumar (24), a resident of Gaiman Colony in city, and Arpit Kumar (19), a resident of Tiro under Jaridih police station area. During interrogation, both allegedly confessed to their involvement in multiple motorcycle thefts.Police said further investigation is underway to identify other members of the racket.
